femme nu is a strip club in honolulu where friends of ours worked and hung out. thinking nothing of it, we created the image of the "flame girl" and gave it to the owner. he liked it so much, he paid us and printed a few dozen t-shirts with the image. amazed after selling them out in just over a week, the club owner asked for another design. we gave him the "sports logo" designs here. again, they sold out in two weeks. the club owner then asked us to create a few more. poker was becoming a very popular and visible sport in early 2005, so ideografix made the four card designs you see here.
